We all think alike.
"Are there any New Players who have questions about Guild Wars? I can help! Please don't ask me about getting rich."
That is what I spend alot of time saying in Ascalon City. I don't like to answer questions about getting rich because I believe that players should go through once without worrying about farming.
Back on to where I intended this thread to go, depending on the population of the district, I usually get between 1 and 3 "How do I get rich?" every time i put out my message. This inevitably followed by 1 of 2 things: "Sorry m8, I just had to do it," or the equally popular, "lol, j/k". I find it incredibly interesting how so many people think alike. To be honest, if I saw someone say my message, I would want to ask them how to get rich as well. Isn't it weird how such a huge volume of people all think so similarily?
Post your thoughts on this.

I have no problem giving economic info. I just don't like to encourage farming in first-timers.

Link to back that up? Also, a good bacon site would be greatly appreciated.

Ahh, but you must remember grasshopper: Canadian Bacon is more like ham than actual bacon, which is very very tasty indeed.

Actually "Canadian Bacon" is much lower in fat than that regular stuff that you fry up in a pan. Tastes good too.

We've been living on the same damn planet/same damn country/playing the same damn game for a while now, I'd hope that after a while we'd start to think along similar lines, or else everything would go to hell.

Basic sociology influancing psychology. Marx theory of Conflict, in that one party of the caste influances one aspect to the under dominate classes of caste in order to gain superiority. These people see puns made on TV and the movies all the time - puns made by people who have a higher social caste due to money and popularity (wether you like the person or not, you often know a TV star).
Unconciously, the person starts to immitate the action of making jokes and puns to gain a higher caste by having similar traites towards the TV and movie star. Example: The Fonz's "Heeeeeeeeey." Even today you see it used. Why? 'cause he did it. Sure, some people say "'cause it's funny." That is known as the Concious Objection, in that it's the reason that's closest to the subject's psyche (a quick sorce of ammo against critism, if you will.) But if the subject were to think hard enough, they would come to the conclusion that it, in a way, was done to fit in. Most likely, to fit in with someone more popular.
Psychology and Sociology are two VERY interesting fields. I recommend you take a gander at them.
